John 6:49

49 aYour fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and bthey died.

John 6:58

58 rThis is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread1 the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.

Exodus 16:15

15 When the people of Israel saw it, they said to one another, eWhat is it?1 For they fdid not know what it was. And Moses said to them, gIt is the bread that the Lord has given you to eat.

Numbers 11:7–9

Now dthe manna was like coriander seed, and its appearance like that of bdellium. eThe people went about and gathered it and ground it in handmills or beat it in mortars and boiled it in pots and made cakes of it. fAnd the taste of it was like the taste of cakes baked with oil. gWhen the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell with it.
