Israel’s War with the Tribe of Benjamin

1 ^yThen all the people of Israel came out, ^zfrom Dan to Beersheba, including the land of Gilead, and the congregation assembled ^aas one man to the Lord ^bat Mizpah.

20 And all Israel ^yfrom Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel was established as a prophet of the Lord.

25 And Judah and Israel lived ^fin safety, from Dan even to Beersheba, every man under ^ghis vine and under his fig tree, all the days of Solomon.

2 So David said to Joab and the commanders of the army, “Go, number Israel, from Beersheba to Dan, and bring me a report, that I may know their number.”

5 So they decreed to make a proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba to Dan, that the people should come and keep the Passover to the Lord, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem, for they had not kept it as often as prescribed.
