23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, 24 but ^ulet him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”

6 ^cYour boasting is not good. Do you not know that ^da little leaven leavens the whole lump?

14 But if you have bitter ^ljealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, ^mdo not boast and be false to the truth.

16 As it is, you boast in your arrogance. ⁿAll such boasting is evil.
