20 qWhat use to me is frankincense that comes from Sheba,
or sweet cane from a distant land?
Your burnt offerings are rnot acceptable,
nor your sacrifices pleasing to me.
10 Thus says the Lord concerning this people:
“They have loved to wander thus;
they have not restrained their feet;
therefore uthe Lord does not accept them;
now he will remember their iniquity
and punish their sins.”
12 Though they fast, wI will not hear their cry, and xthough they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them yby the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.”
13 As for my sacrificial offerings,
they sacrifice meat and eat it,
but jthe Lord does not accept them.
Now he will kremember their iniquity
and punish their sins;
lthey shall return to Egypt.
10 Oh that there were one among you who would shut the doors, that you might not kindle fire on my altar in vain! I have kno pleasure in you, says the Lord of hosts, and I will lnot accept an offering from your hand.
13 And this second thing you do. You cover the Lord’s altar with tears, with weeping and groaning because he no longer regards the offering or accepts it with favor from your hand.
