Jeremiah 23:5-6; Isaiah 32:1-2; Psalm 93; Luke 1:31-33; Revelation 19:6-8

aBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous bBranch, and che shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. In his days Judah will be saved, and dIsrael will edwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: fThe Lord is our righteousness.

A King Will Reign in Righteousness

32  Behold, oa king will reign in righteousness,

and princes will rule in justice.

pEach will be like a hiding place from the wind,

a shelter from the storm,

qlike streams of water in a dry place,

like the shade of a great rock in a weary land.

The Lord Reigns

93  cThe Lord reigns; he is drobed in majesty;

the Lord is erobed; he has fput on strength as his belt.

gYes, the world is established; hit shall never be moved.

iYour throne is established from of old;

jyou are from everlasting.

kThe floods have lifted up, O Lord,

the floods have lifted up their voice;

the floods lift up their roaring.

Mightier than the thunders of many waters,

mightier than the waves of the sea,

lthe Lord mon high is mighty!

Your ndecrees are very trustworthy;

oholiness befits your house,

O Lord, forevermore.

31 And behold, fyou will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and gyou shall call his name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of hthe Most High. And the Lord God iwill give to him the throne of jhis father David, 33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob kforever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

Then I heard what seemed to be wthe voice of a great multitude, like xthe roar of many waters and ylike the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

Hallelujah!

For the Lord our God

the Almighty zreigns.

Let us rejoice and exult

and give him the glory,

for athe marriage of the Lamb has come,

and bhis Bride has made herself ready;

cit was granted her to clothe herself

with fine linen, bright and pure

for the fine linen is dthe righteous deeds of the saints.
