9 ^oHe who stays in this city shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, but he who goes out and surrenders to the Chaldeans who are besieging you shall live and shall ^phave his life as a prize of war.

2 “Thus says the Lord: ^aHe who stays in this city shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, but he who goes out to the Chaldeans shall live. He shall ^bhave his life as a prize of war, and live.

18 For I will surely save you, and you shall not fall by the sword, but you shall ^ahave your life as a prize of war, because you have put your trust in me, declares the Lord.’”
