Job 5:14

14  They meet with darkness in the daytime

and hgrope at noonday as in the night.


Job 12:25

25  They agrope in the dark without light,

and he makes them bstagger like a drunken man.


Isaiah 59:10

10  kWe grope for the wall like the blind;

we grope like those who have no eyes;

we stumble at noon as in the twilight,

lamong those in full vigor we are like dead men.


Zephaniah 1:17

17  kI will bring distress on mankind,

so that they shall walk llike the blind,

because they have sinned against the Lord;

1 John 2:9–11

Whoever says he is in the light and ohates his brother is still in darkness. 10 Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him1 there is no pcause for stumbling. 11 But whoever hates his brother is in the darkness and qwalks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
