8  And he has shriveled me up,

which is a witness against me,

and ^omy leanness has risen up against me;

it testifies to my face.

21  ^eHis flesh is so wasted away that it cannot be seen,

and ^fhis bones that were not seen stick out.

17  I can count all my bones—

they stare and gloat over me;

10  For my life is spent with sorrow,

and my years with ^csighing;

my strength fails because of my iniquity,

and ^dmy bones waste away.
