Isaiah 6:9–10

And he said, Go, and say to this people:

dKeep on hearing,1 but do not understand;

keep on seeing,2 but do not perceive.

10  eMake the heart of this people fdull,3

and their ears heavy,

and blind their eyes;

glest they see with their eyes,

and hear with their ears,

and understand with their hearts,

and turn and be healed.

Isaiah 28:13

13  And the word of the Lord will be to them

precept upon precept, precept upon precept,

line upon line, line upon line,

here a little, there a little,

nthat they may go, and fall backward,

and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Isaiah 29:11–12

11 And the vision of all this has become to you like the words of a book that is tsealed. When men give it to one who can read, saying, Read this, he says, I cannot, for it is sealed. 12 And when they give the book to one who cannot read, saying, Read this, he says, I cannot read.
