Isaiah 55:6–9

6  “Seek the Lord ewhile he may be found;

call upon him while he is near;

7  let the wicked forsake his way,

and the unrighteous man his thoughts;

let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him,

and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

8  For my thoughts are not your thoughts,

neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.

9  For fas the heavens are higher than the earth,

so are my ways higher than your ways

and my thoughts than your thoughts.

John 15:12–15

12 h“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. 13 iGreater love has no one than this, that someone jlay down his life for his friends. 14 kYou are my friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants,1 for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for lall that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

Ephesians 5:17

17 Therefore do not be foolish, but runderstand what the will of the Lord is.
