3 kHe was despised and rejected1 by men,
a man of sorrows2 and acquainted with3 grief;4
and as one from whom men hide their faces5
he was despised, and lwe esteemed him not.
2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
and the rulers take counsel together,
against the Lord and against his tAnointed, saying,
11 He came to phis own,1 and qhis own people2 rdid not receive him.
43 I have come bin my Father’s name, and cyou do not receive me. dIf another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
29 And they rose up and tdrove him out of the town and brought him to the brow of the hill on which their town was built, so that they could throw him down the cliff.
25 But first che must suffer many things and cbe rejected by this generation.
