8  ^pFor the Lord has a ^qday of vengeance,

a year of recompense for the cause of Zion.

2  to proclaim ^athe year of the Lord’s favor,

and the ^bday of vengeance of our God;

to ^ccomfort all who mourn;

4  For the ^fday of vengeance was in my heart,

and my year of redemption¹ had come.
