15 When you uspread out your hands,
I will hide my eyes from you;
even though you make many prayers,
vI will not listen;
your hands are full of blood.
11 Therefore, thus says the Lord, Behold, I am bringing disaster upon them that they cannot escape. Though they cry to me, cI will not listen to them.
12 Though they fast, wI will not hear their cry, and xthough they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them yby the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.”
18 Therefore I will act in wrath. yMy eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. And though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, zI will not hear them.”
4 Then they will cry to the Lord,
cbut he will not answer them;
dhe will hide his face from them at that time,
because they have made their deeds evil.
