2  “Behold, God is my salvation;

I will ^wtrust, and will not be afraid;

for ^xthe Lord God¹ is my strength and my song,

and he has become my salvation.”

3  You keep him in perfect peace

whose mind is stayed on you,

because he trusts in you.

4  ^jTrust in the Lord forever,

for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.

17  And the effect of righteousness will be peace,

and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust¹ forever.

18  My people will abide in a peaceful habitation,

in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

10  Who among you fears the Lord

and obeys the voice of ^bhis servant?

Let him who walks in darkness

and has no light

^ctrust in the name of the Lord

and ^drely on his God.

2  All these things my hand has made,

and so all these things came to be,

declares the Lord.

But this is the one to whom I will look:

he who is humble and ^bcontrite in spirit

and ^ctrembles at my word.
