The Remnant of Israel Will Return
20 In that day the premnant of Israel and the survivors of the house of Jacob will no more lean on him who struck them, but will qlean on the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. 21 rA remnant will return, the sremnant of Jacob, to the tmighty God. 22 For uthough your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will return. vDestruction is decreed, overflowing with righteousness.
11 In that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the lremnant that remains of his people, mfrom Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush,1 from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea.
16 And there will be a thighway from Assyria
for the remnant that remains of his people,
as there was for Israel
when they came up from the land of Egypt.
5 In that day the Lord of hosts will be a fcrown of glory,1
and a diadem of beauty, to the gremnant of his people,
4 It may be that the Lord your God will hear the words of the Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to wmock the living God, and will rebuke the words that the Lord your God has heard; therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is xleft.’”
32 For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant, and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors. lThe zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
