18  ^l“Remember not the former things,

nor consider the things of old.

19  Behold, I am doing a ^mnew thing;

now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?

I will make a way in the wilderness

and ⁿrivers in the desert.

16  so that he who blesses himself in the land

shall bless himself by the God of truth,

and he who takes an oath in the land

shall swear by the God of truth;

because the former troubles are forgotten

and are hidden from my eyes.

17  “For behold, I create ^lnew heavens

and a new earth,

and ^mthe former things shall not be remembered

ⁿor come into mind.
