8  I am the Lord; ^mthat is my name;

ⁿmy glory I give to no other,

nor my praise to carved idols.

2  For they call themselves after the holy city,

and stay themselves on the God of Israel;

^kthe Lord of hosts is his name.

15  I am the Lord your God,

^ywho stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—

^zthe Lord of hosts is his name.

5  For your Maker is your husband,

the Lord of hosts is his name;

and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer,

the God ^tof the whole earth he is called.
