Isaiah 26:17

17  xLike a pregnant woman

who writhes and cries out in her pangs

when she is near to giving birth,

so were we because of you, O Lord;


Psalm 48:6

sTrembling took hold of them there,

anguish tas of a woman in labor.


Isaiah 13:8

They will be dismayed:

ppangs and agony will seize them;

qthey will be in anguish like a woman in labor.

They will look aghast at one another;

their faces will be aflame.


1 Thessalonians 5:3

While people are saying, There is peace and security, then zsudden destruction will come upon them aas labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
