The Wickedness of Judah
2 gHear, O heavens, and give ear, O hearth;
for the Lord has spoken:
“Children1 ihave I reared and brought up,
but they have rebelled against me.
10 1 Yet pthe number of the children of Israel shall be qlike the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. rAnd sin the place where it was said to them, o“You are not my people,” it shall be said to them, t“Children2 of uthe living God.”
12 But to all who did receive him, swho believed in his name, the gave the right uto become vchildren of God,
8 This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but qthe children of the promise are counted as offspring.
26 l“And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’
there they will be called m‘sons of the living God.’”
26 for in Christ Jesus uyou are all sons of God, through faith.
