For kI desire steadfast love1 and not sacrifice,

lthe knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.


Matthew 23:23

23 dWoe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For eyou tithe mint and dill and fcumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: gjustice and mercy and faithfulness. hThese you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.
