21 And when the Lord smelled the ^qpleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, ^r“I will never again curse¹ the ground because of man, for ^sthe intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. ^tNeither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.

11 Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, ^jthe heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.

3 This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that the same event happens to all. Also, ^sthe hearts of the children of man are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
