1 When Abram was ninety-nine years old the Lord ^lappeared to Abram and said to him, “I am God ^mAlmighty;^{1 n}walk before me, and be ^oblameless,

40 But he said to me, ‘The Lord, ^obefore whom I have walked, will send his angel with you and prosper your way. You shall take a wife for my son from my clan and from my father’s house.

15 ^oAnd he blessed Joseph and said,

3 “Now, O Lord, please remember how ^dI have ^ewalked before you in faithfulness and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
