2 And God spoke to Israel iin visions of the night and said, “Jacob, Jacob.” And he said, “Here I am.”
Ezekiel in Babylon
1 aIn the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the exiles by bthe Chebar canal, cthe heavens were opened, and I saw dvisions of God.1
2 And I saw in the vision; and when I saw, I was in nSusa the citadel, which is in the province of oElam. And pI saw in the vision, pand I was at the qUlai canal.
8 So I was left alone and saw this great vision, and sno strength was left in me. My radiant appearance was fearfully changed,1 tand I retained no strength.
16 And behold, lone in the likeness of the children of man mtouched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke. I said to him who stood before me, “O my lord, by reason of the vision pains have come upon me, and nI retain no strength.
11 And there appeared to him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of zthe altar of incense.
22 And when he came out, he was unable to speak to them, and they realized that he had seen a vision in sthe temple. And the kept making signs to them and remained mute.
11 and saw ithe heavens opened and something like a great sheet descending, being let down by its four corners upon the earth.
17 d“When I had returned to Jerusalem and ewas praying in the temple, I fell into fa trance 18 and saw him saying to me, g‘Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.’
