19 He called the name of that place ^eBethel,¹ but the name of the city was Luz at the first.

6 And Jacob came to ^jLuz (that is, Bethel), which is in the land of Canaan, he and all the people who were with him,

3 And Jacob said to Joseph, ^z“God Almighty¹ appeared to me at ^aLuz in the land of Canaan and blessed me,

13 From there the boundary passes along southward in the direction of Luz, to the shoulder of ^cLuz (that is, Bethel), then the boundary goes down to ^dAtaroth-addar, on the mountain that lies south of Lower ^eBeth-horon.
