18 ^sOn that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your offspring I give¹ this land, ^tfrom the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates,

2 that I may ^pmake my covenant between me and you, and may multiply you greatly.”

8 And Moses took the blood and ^othrew it on the people and said, “Behold the ^pblood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
