Genesis 13:12

12 Abram settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot settled among the cities of the valley and moved his tent as far as Sodom.

Genesis 19:17

17 And as they brought them out, one said, Escape for your life. fDo not look back or stop anywhere in the gvalley. Escape to the hills, lest you be swept away.

Genesis 19:25

25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the valley, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.

Genesis 19:28–29

28 And he looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah and toward all the land of the valley, and he looked and, behold, the smoke of the land went up like the smoke of a furnace.

29 So it was that, when God destroyed the cities of the valley, God lremembered Abraham and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow when he overthrew the cities in which Lot had lived.

2 Samuel 18:23

23 Come what may, he said, I will run. So he said to him, Run. Then Ahimaaz ran by the way of fthe plain, and outran the Cushite.
