Then the Lord appeared to Abram and said, vTo your offspring I will give this land. So he built there an altar to the Lord, who had appeared to him.


15 for all the land that you see I will give pto you and qto your offspring forever.


And he said to him, I am the Lord who kbrought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans lto give you this land to possess.


18 On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, yTo your offspring I give1 this land, from zthe river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates,


cI will multiply your offspring as the stars of heaven and will give to your offspring all these lands. And din your offspring all the nations of the earth shall be blessed,


13 And behold, tthe Lord stood above it1 and said, uI am the Lord, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. vThe land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring.


11 And God said to him, oI am God Almighty:1 be pfruitful and multiply. qA nation and a company of nations shall come from you, and kings shall come from your own body.2 12 rThe land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac I will give to you, and I will give the land to your offspring after you.


16  nthe angel who has oredeemed me from all evil, bless the boys;

and in them let pmy name be carried on, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;

and let them qgrow into a multitude1 in the midst of the earth.
