Noah and the Flood

9 These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a ^prighteous man, ^qblameless in his generation. Noah ^rwalked with God.

13 ^pYou shall be blameless before the Lord your God,

48 You therefore must be ^aperfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

21 Jesus said to him, “If you would be ^xperfect, go, ^ysell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, ^zfollow me.”

Straining Toward the Goal

12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already ^qperfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.

2 ^bFor we all ^cstumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to ^dbridle his whole body.
