Genesis 4:10–11
10 And the Lord said, “What have you done? The voice of qyour brother’s blood is rcrying to me from the ground. 11 And now you are scursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.
Isaiah 26:21
21 sFor behold, the Lord is coming out from his place
to tpunish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity,
and uthe earth will disclose the blood shed on it,
and will no more cover its slain.
