35 All his sons and all his daughters rose up to ^pcomfort him, but he ^qrefused to be comforted and said, “No, I shall ^rgo down to Sheol to my son, mourning.” Thus his father wept for him.

38 But he said, “My son shall not go down with you, for his brother is dead, and he is the only one left. If harm should happen to him on the journey that you are to make, you would ^pbring down my gray hairs with sorrow to Sheol.”

29 ^xIf ^yyou take this one also from me, and harm happens to him, you will bring down my gray hairs in evil to Sheol.’
