^p“Two nations are in your womb,

and two peoples from within you¹ shall be divided;

^qthe one shall be stronger than the other,

^rthe older shall serve the younger.”

29  Let peoples serve you,

and nations bow down to you.

^zBe lord over your brothers,

and ^amay your mother’s sons bow down to you.

^bCursed be everyone who curses you,

and blessed be everyone who blesses you!”
