Genesis 1:27–28

27  So God created man in his own image,

in the image of God he created him;

rmale and female he created them.

28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, sBe fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.

Genesis 2:24–25

24 tTherefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.

Matthew 19:4–6

He answered, tHave you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, uTherefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and vthe two shall become one flesh? So they are no longer two but one flesh. wWhat therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.
