Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 8:29; 1 Corinthians 15:49; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Colossians 3:9-10; 2 Corinthians 6:18

26 Then God said, oLet us make man1 in our image, pafter our likeness. And qlet them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

27  So God created man in his own image,

in the image of God he created him;

rmale and female he created them.

29 For those whom he jforeknew he also kpredestined lto be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be mthe firstborn among many brothers.

49 Just oas we have borne the image of the man of dust, pwe shall1 also bear the image of the man of heaven.

18 And we all, with unveiled face, tbeholding uthe glory of the Lord,1 vare being transformed into the same image wfrom one degree of glory to another.2 For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

tDo not lie to one another, seeing that uyou have put off vthe old self1 with its practices 10 and whave put on xthe new self, ywhich is being renewed in knowledge zafter the image of aits creator.

18  iand I will be a father to you,

and you shall be sons and daughters to me,

says the Lord Almighty.
