The Creation of the World
1 aIn the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
11 For pin six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and qrested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
15 May you be blessed by the Lord,
who made heaven and earth!
12 I made the earth
and created man on it;
it was my hands that wstretched out the heavens,
and I commanded all their host.
12 eIt is he who made the earth by his power,
who established the world fby his wisdom,
and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.
24 And when they heard it, they lifted their voices together to God and said, “Sovereign Lord, who qmade the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them,
6 and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there would be no more delay,
