16 I will make your offspring as the gdust of the earth, so that if one can count the dust of the earth, your offspring also can be counted.
17 I will surely ibless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring jas the stars of heaven and as the ksand that is on the seashore. And your offspring shall possess the gate of his1 enemies,
9 O Lord God, qlet your word to David my father be now fulfilled, for you have made me king over a people ras numerous as the dust of the earth.
22 For uthough your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will return. vDestruction is decreed, overflowing with righteousness.
10 1 lYet the number of the children of Israel shall be mlike the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. nAnd in the place where it was said to them, “You are not my people,” it shall be said to them, o“Children2 of the living God.”
12 Therefore from one man, and him cas good as dead, were born descendants das many as the stars of heaven and as many as the innumerable grains of sand by the seashore.
