10 For am I now ^oseeking the ^papproval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant¹ of Christ.

12 It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh who would ^jforce you to be circumcised, and only ^kin order that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.

14 But far be it from me to boast ^mexcept in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which¹ the world has been crucified to me, and ⁿI to the world.
