10 And when the builders ^klaid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests in their vestments came forward with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the Lord, ^laccording to the directions of David king of Israel.

16 Then this Sheshbazzar came and ^tlaid the foundations of the house of God that is in Jerusalem, and from that time until now it has been in building, and it is not yet finished.’

18 Consider from this day onward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month. Since the day that the ^efoundation of the Lord’s temple was laid, consider:

9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have ^wlaid the foundation of this house; ^xhis hands shall also complete it. Then you will know that ^ythe Lord of hosts has sent me to you.

9 Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Let your hands ^lbe strong, you who in these days have been hearing these words from the mouth of the prophets who were present on the day that the ^mfoundation of the house of the Lord of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
