6 I will drench the land even to the mountains
with your flowing blood,
and the ravines will be full of you.
3 Their slain shall be cast out,
and xthe stench of their corpses shall rise;
ythe mountains shall flow with their blood.
17 Thus says the Lord, “By this dyou shall know that I am the Lord: behold, with the staff that is in my hand I will strike the water that is in the Nile, and eit shall turn into blood.
7 dWild oxen shall efall with them,
and fyoung steers with fthe mighty bulls.
Their land shall drink its fill of blood,
and their soil shall be gorged with fat.
20 And othe winepress was trodden poutside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as qa horse’s bridle, for 1,600 stadia.1
6 For bthey have shed the blood of csaints and prophets,
and dyou have given them blood to drink.
It is what they deserve!”
