24 And ^qI, the Lord, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. ^rI am the Lord; I have spoken.

25 ^aThey shall dwell in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children’s children shall dwell there ^bforever, and David my servant shall be their prince ^cforever.

The Portion for the Prince

7 ^p“And to ^qthe prince shall belong the land on both sides of the holy district and the property of the city, alongside the holy district and the property of the city, on the west and on the east, corresponding in length to one of the tribal portions, and extending from the western to the eastern boundary

2 ^sThe prince shall enter by the vestibule of the gate from outside, and shall take his stand by ^tthe post of the gate. ^uThe priests shall offer his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at ^vthe threshold of the gate. Then he shall go out, but the gate shall not be shut until evening.
