8  ^eThen the nations set against him

from provinces on every side;

^fthey spread their net over him;

^bhe was taken in their pit.

3  Thus says the Lord God:

^mI will throw my net over you

with a host of ⁿmany peoples,

and ^othey will haul you up in my dragnet.

12  As they go, ^rI will spread over them my net;

I will bring them down like birds of the heavens;

^sI will discipline them ^taccording to the report made to their congregation.
