35 the people of Israel would see the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses’ face was ashining. And Moses would put the veil over his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
The Shining Face of Moses
29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, with uthe two tablets of the testimony in his hand as he came down from the mountain, Moses did not know that the skin of his face vshone because he had been talking with God.1 30 Aaron and all the people of Israel saw Moses, and behold, the skin of his face wshone, and they were afraid to come near him.
Keep the King’s Command
1 Who is like the wise?
And who knows the interpretation of a thing?
zA man’s wisdom makes his face shine,
and athe hardness of his face is changed.
3 gAnd those who are wise hshall shine like the brightness of the sky above;1 and ithose who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so nthat1 they may see your good works and ogive glory to your Father who is in heaven.
43 Then uthe righteous will shine like the sun vin the kingdom of their Father. wHe who has ears, let him hear.
35 He was a burning and mshining lamp, and nyou were willing to rejoice for a while in his light.
15 that you may be blameless and innocent, lchildren of God mwithout blemish nin the midst of oa crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine pas lights in the world,
