5 iYou shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jjealous God, kvisiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
39 And those of you who are left shall mrot away in your enemies’ lands because of their iniquity, and also nbecause of the iniquities of their fathers they shall rot away like them.
21 Prepare slaughter for his sons
bbecause of the guilt of their fathers,
lest they rise and possess the earth,
and fill the face of the world with cities.”
18 sYou show steadfast love to thousands, but you repay the guilt of fathers to their children after them, O great and mighty God, whose name is the Lord of hosts,
7 Our fathers sinned, and are no more;
and iwe bear their iniquities.
