25 And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a log,¹ and he ^othrew it into the water, and the water became sweet.

There the Lord² made for them a statute and a rule, and there he ^ptested them,

21 Then he went to the spring of water and ^zthrew salt in it and said, “Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.”

41 He said, “Then bring flour.” And he ^ethrew it into the pot and said, “Pour some out for the men, that they may eat.” And there was no harm in the pot.
