4 But the Lord will make a ^pdistinction between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt, so that nothing of all that belongs to the people of Israel shall die.”’”

26 Only in the land of Goshen, ^cwhere the people of Israel were, was there no hail.

23 They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, ^abut all the people of Israel had light ^bwhere they lived.

7 But not a dog shall growl against any of the people of Israel, either man or beast, that you may know that the Lord makes a ^jdistinction between Egypt and Israel.’

13 The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And ^bwhen I see the blood, I will pass over you, and ^cno plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.

27 ^oyou shall say, ‘It is the sacrifice of the Lord’s Passover, for he passed over the houses of the people of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians but spared our houses.’” And the people bowed their heads and worshiped.
