13 You shall ^utear down their altars and ^vbreak their pillars and cut down their ^wAsherim

25 That night the Lord said to him, “Take your father’s bull, and the second bull seven years old, and pull down the altar of Baal that your father has, and cut down ^qthe Asherah that is beside it

15 the Lord will strike Israel as a reed is shaken in the water, and ^xroot up Israel out of ^ythis good land that he gave to their fathers and scatter them ^zbeyond the Euphrates,¹ because they have made their ^aAsherim, provoking the Lord to anger.

33 And Ahab made an ^pAsherah. Ahab did more to provoke the Lord, the God of Israel, to anger ^kthan all the kings of Israel who were before him.

6 Nevertheless, they did not depart from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, ^mwhich he made Israel to sin, but walked¹ in them; and ^uthe Asherah also remained in Samaria.)

16 And they abandoned all the commandments of the Lord their God, and made for themselves metal images of ^utwo calves; and they ^vmade an Asherah and ^wworshiped all the host of heaven and served ^xBaal.

3 For he rebuilt the high places ^lthat his father Hezekiah had broken down, and he erected altars to the Baals, and made ^mAsheroth, and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them.
