Moses Makes New Tablets

1 The Lord said to Moses, ^w“Cut for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, ^xand I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, ^ywhich you broke.

18 And he gave to Moses, when he had finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, the ^ttwo tablets of the testimony, tablets of stone, written with ^uthe finger of God.

16 ^uThe tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.

13 ^rAnd he declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, that is, ^sthe Ten Commandments,^{1 t}and he wrote them on two tablets of stone.

2 And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets that you broke, and ⁿyou shall put them in the ark.’

4 And ^qhe wrote on the tablets, in the same writing as before, the Ten Commandments^{1 r}that the Lord had spoken to you on the mountain out of the midst of the fire ^son the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me.
