Exodus 24:17

17 Now the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a pdevouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel.


Hebrews 12:29

Deuteronomy 9:3

Know therefore today that he who zgoes over before you aas a consuming fire is the Lord your God. He will destroy them and subdue them before you. bSo you shall drive them out and make them perish quickly, as the Lord has promised you.


Isaiah 10:16–18

myou will be visited by the Lord of hosts

with thunder and with earthquake and great noise,

with whirlwind and tempest, and the flame of a devouring fire.


Isaiah 30:27

27  Behold, the name of the Lord comes from afar,

burning with his anger, and in thick rising smoke;1

his lips are full of fury,

and his tongue is like a devouring fire;
