24 And the people ⁿgrumbled against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”

2 And the whole congregation of the people of Israel ^ugrumbled ^vagainst Moses and Aaron in the wilderness,

3 But the people thirsted there for water, and the people ^agrumbled against Moses and said, ^b“Why did you bring us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?”

The People Complain

1 And the people ^acomplained ^bin the hearing of the Lord about their misfortunes, and when the Lord heard it, his anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burned among them and consumed some outlying parts of the camp.

11 Therefore it is against the Lord that you and all your company have gathered together. What is Aaron that you ^pgrumble against him?”

5 And the staff of the man whom I ^schoose shall sprout. Thus I will make to cease from me the ^tgrumblings of the people of Israel, which they grumble against you.”

27 And you murmured ^oin your tents and said, ^p‘Because the Lord hated us he has brought us out of the land of Egypt, to give us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.
