Exodus 10:21–23

The Ninth Plague: Darkness

21 Then the Lord said to Moses, lStretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be mdarkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness to be felt. 22 So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was pitch darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. 23 They did not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days, but nall the people of Israel had light where they lived.

Isaiah 13:10

10  sFor the stars of the heavens and their constellations

will not give their light;

tthe sun will be dark at its rising,

and the moon will not shed its light.

Isaiah 30:26

26 dMoreover, the light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day when ethe Lord binds up fthe brokenness of his people, and heals the wounds inflicted by his blow.
