22 to ^wput off your ^xold self,¹ which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires,

25 Therefore, having put away ^bfalsehood, let each one of you ^cspeak the truth with his neighbor, for ^dwe are members one of another.

31 ^oLet all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.
